Privacy Policy

How RS Homoeo Clinic collects, uses, and protects personal and health information in the patient app and website.

Last updated: 23 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how RS Homoeo Clinic (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the RS Homoeo mobile application (Android and iOS), our website, and related clinic services (together, the “Services”).

We operate a homeopathy clinic and digital care tools for patients, doctors, and clinic staff. Some information we process is sensitive personal data (including health information). We only use it to provide care and run the clinic systems you choose to use.

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Services, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who we are

RS Homoeo Clinic is the data controller for personal information processed through the Services.

Registered / clinic address: 2/111 A, Peruchithanar St, M.A. Nagar, Redhills, Chennai 600052, India.

Privacy and data requests: rshomoeoclinic26@gmail.com.

Website: https://rshomoeoclinic.com

2. Scope

This Policy covers:

  • The RS Homoeo patient app (package / application ID used on Google Play and the App Store)
  • Our public website and contact / inquiry forms
  • Clinic staff and doctor tools that process patient records in connection with your care
  • Guest chat and other features available before or without full patient login

3. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information generated by your use of the Services, and limited information from your device when you grant permission.

  • Account & identity: mobile phone number, name, patient code, optional profile details (date of birth, gender, weight, blood group, allergies, chief complaint), and authentication data (OTP verification, session / JWT tokens)
  • Family / dependent profiles: name, relationship, date of birth, gender, blood group, and related care data you add for family members
  • Health & clinical data: health intake / case history, symptoms, lifestyle and mental generals as recorded for homeopathic care, past illnesses, medications, family and obstetric history, consultation notes, prescriptions, visit summaries, follow-up check-ins, symptom journal entries (including optional photos), consent forms and signatures, support messages, and medical documents you or clinic staff upload
  • Appointments & operations: booking details, reminders, invoices, and payment status records (including demo / mock payment references where enabled)
  • Communications: in-app chat (text, voice notes, images), website inquiries (name, phone, optional email, message), reviews, and SOS alerts (optional note)
  • Location (optional): approximate or precise location if you allow it when sending an SOS alert, so the clinic can respond appropriately
  • Device & push: device push token (FCM), platform (Android / iOS), and notification preference settings
  • App preferences stored on device: language, theme, optional app PIN lock, cached content, and local reminder schedules
  • Technical logs: security / audit logs, IP and request metadata as needed to operate and protect the Services

4. Device permissions

The app may request the following permissions. You can deny or revoke them in system settings; some features will then be unavailable.

  • Internet — to connect to our servers
  • Notifications — appointment, prescription, reminder, and message alerts
  • Microphone — to record voice notes in chat
  • Photos / media / storage — to attach images in chat, upload medical records, or add journal photos
  • Location (when used) — only for SOS alerts if you choose to share it

5. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Create and secure your account (OTP sign-in)
  • Book and manage appointments, prescriptions, reminders, and follow-ups
  • Enable care between you and clinic doctors / staff (records, chat, consents, SOS)
  • Send transactional notifications you enable (and respect quiet hours where configured)
  • Improve reliability, security, and support of the Services
  • Comply with legal, professional, and regulatory obligations applicable to healthcare providers
  • Respond to website inquiries and operate the public clinic site

7. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Services:

  • Clinic doctors and authorised staff who need access to provide your care
  • Infrastructure and messaging providers that process data on our instructions — for example cloud hosting for our API and database, SMS / OTP providers (such as 2Factor, and optionally Twilio or MSG91), and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (and related Google services used for push delivery and app analytics where enabled)
  • Professional advisers or authorities when required by law, regulation, or to protect rights, safety, and security
  • A successor entity if the clinic practice is transferred, subject to continued confidentiality protections

8. Retention

We retain account, clinical, and communication records for as long as needed to provide care, meet medical record-keeping expectations, resolve disputes, and comply with law. Device tokens and local app preferences may be removed when you sign out, uninstall the app, or request deletion.

When retention is no longer required, we delete or anonymise data where practicable.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of health data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) in production, access controls for clinic staff, authentication tokens, and server-side storage of clinical records.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please protect your phone, OTP codes, and any optional app PIN. Do not share OTPs with anyone.

10. Children and family profiles

The Services may be used by a parent or legal guardian to manage care for children or other dependents under a family profile. If you add a minor’s information, you confirm you are authorised to do so. We do not knowingly allow children to create independent accounts without guardian involvement.

11. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law and clinical record requirements, you may:

  • Access or correct profile and health information you provided
  • Manage notification preferences in the app
  • Revoke device permissions in your phone settings
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal data (see below)
  • Contact us with privacy questions or complaints at the email above

12. Account and data deletion

To request deletion of your RS Homoeo account and associated personal data, email rshomoeoclinic26@gmail.com from the phone number registered on your account (or include that number in your message) with the subject “Account deletion request”.

We will verify your identity and process the request within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days, unless we must retain certain records for legal, medical, billing, or security reasons. We will tell you if any data must be retained and why.

Uninstalling the app removes local data on your device but does not by itself delete your clinic account on our servers.

13. International processing

Our primary operations are in India. Some processors (for example Google Firebase) may process data in other countries. Where they do, we rely on appropriate contractual and technical safeguards offered by those providers.

14. Third-party links and services

The Services may link to WhatsApp, phone dialers, map apps, or store listings. Those services have their own privacy practices. This Policy applies only to information we control.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may also be highlighted in the app or on the website. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
